Lodging in Grand Teton National Park

Grand Tetons and wild lupine flowers - McReynolds Cabins

Many folks who call Barker-Ewing Scenic’s office for Snake River Float Trip reservations are also hoping we can advise them about Lodging in Grand Teton National Park. Of course, there are a great many hotels and motels in the town of Jackson as well as some wonderful lodges at Teton Village. But here inside the Park there are several smaller and lesser known places to stay that are unusual and truly exceptional!

Our neighbors Amy and Lyle McReynolds just “around the corner” from our float trip base of operation at Moose offer their own home and a second cabin for rental during the summer. The McReynolds Blacktail Cabins are available more for long-term stays, and book up well in advance, but are highly recommended for those planning their vacation well ahead.

A bit further east on historic Mormon Row is another wonderful home. The Moulton Ranch Cabins has several cabins available for weekly rental. Hal Blake is the grandson of the original homesteaders, and with his wife Iola they have created the most beautiful lawns and gardens to be found anywhere in Jackson Hole. The famous and much-photographed “Moulton Barn” is right next door!

Of course, there is also Dornans Cabins, right at Moose, located along the banks of the Snake River with a Chuckwagon restaurant as well as a bar with additional food service rated as “the restaurant with the best view in Jackson Hole”! The log cabins are comfortable and conveniently located close to the new Grand Teton National Park Visitor Center and Park Headquarters. Our Barker-Ewing Reservation Desk is situated inside the Dornan’s Gift Shop.

These are just a few ideas of lodging possibilities inside Grand Teton National Park. When you call Barker-Ewing Scenic Float Trips for float trip reservations, we can provide you with some other ideas on Lodging in Grand Teton National Park as well. We’re happy to be of help!
