Had a blast on the guided trip I did in mid-August. Got caught in a gnarly rain, but our guide powered through, and we had a great time. Incredibly knowledgeable and genuine. Lots of wildlife at night, so highly recommend going out then. Would definitely do this trip again.

We had a fabulous float trip on September 21st with Michael as our guide. It’s obvious that he has a great love for the area as it showed in the way that he shared his knowledge of the river and the Tetons. He kept everyone involved and entertained. We truly appreciated the effort the staff at Barker-Ewing put into getting us in on the last day of the season after our original date had to be canceled.This float was truly the highlight of our trip to the Tetons.

Great trip that offers a unique perspective of the Grand Tetons from the river. Our guide James was informative and helpful and answered all our questions. It was a beautiful and peaceful trip, and one of my family’s favorite experiences in Grand Teton National Park. Thank you to Barker Ewing for the great communication and coordination!

I researched several scenic raft tours before deciding on Barker ewing. I was looking for a company where i could really see the Tetons—not just a glimpse at the beginning. This company delivered!! We had the beautiful snow capped mountains in site for almost the entire time. Not to mention how knowledgeable our guide was —plus saw a bald eagle. Absolutely awesome!!! Thx!!!

Communication from the beginning with Barker-Ewing Float Trips was great. We were met on time and had Chris as our boatman. He was so informative, and answered all of our questions about the park. The water was perfect and the views were amazing. We really enjoyed our time in the river and highly recommend this trip for everyone!

This was a lot of fun! Our float was easy to book and check-in was a breeze. James was a great guide with lots of interesting facts about the area. And we saw a bear! It was a lovely, relaxing couple of hours on the river and I would highly recommend.

I can’t say enough of what a wonderful experience this was. Kris our guide was very informative and educational. He spotted all kids of animals and answered all our questions. Definitely will recommend this tour.

Great trip! Our guide was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable.

We had a very experienced guide - the way he maneuvered the raft whenever the river turned from calm to rapids. He pointed out wildlife and provided some history of settlers of yesteryear. He offered blankets and ponchos since the weather was drizzly and about 32 degrees. My group really enjoyed this tour and would recommend Barker-Ewing to anyone.

Great float trip with our guide Chris. He was constantly looking for wildlife and we saw Osprey with a large fish catch, 3 bald eagles, beaver and their dams. Loved that he would turn the boat so front and back got rotated regularly. Fantastic Teton scenery throughout! Really enjoyed his stories about how the river changes every year...or day! Our family of 4 adults loved it and highly recommend!

Guide was great and offered numerous facts about the River, vegetation & wildlife. Couldn’t have asked for a better time or guide.
