The staff was very helpful and courteous and friendly. Our family had an amazing time. Our guide was full of stories and information, and was friendly and approachable. All of our family, including our teenagers, had an enjoyable time listening to his stories and enjoying the wildlife and the beautiful scenery.

Outstanding float down the Snake River. Our guide, Grant, was extremely knowledgeable about the nature and the history of the area, all of which added tremendously to our experience. Highly recommend. Five Stars.

Well organized scenic float trip on the Snake River. Guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. River was running fast as trip in early June, but we saw some wildlife, including a river otter. Very enjoyable experience and would recommend for people of all ages to enjoy a very different view of the Tetons.

My friends and I wanted an opportunity to view the Tetons from a different perspective on this trip, and after reading reviews on the many float trip operators, settled on Barker-Ewing. It was a wonderful experience, and our guide, James, was very knowledgeable, personable, entertaining, and professional. We enjoyed a pleasant float down the Snake River on a beautifully clear morning. He was able to answer nearly all of our questions, and allowed us opportunities to sit in awe of the majestic views. He was also very good at spotting wildlife, and we saw a river otter, three bald eagles, and an osprey as well! I highly recommend doing a Barker-Ewing float if you are in the area! Learning about the Tetons and surrounding area from a local guide was a highlight for me!

James was a great guide on our float tour. He shared a lot of his knowledge of the Grand Tetons and the wildlife. He was skillful in handling the raft and in ensuring we were all safe. The overall experience with this company was great! They were very attentive about providing a quality tour.

He shared fascinating history and stories about the area that you won't find in guidebooks. His passion and expertise made the experience even more memorable.The scenery was incredible,If you're visiting Jackson Hole, I highly recommend using this company. Would give 6 stars if possible. I’d recommend this outfitter to anyone visiting who wants to experience the Tetons in an incredible way.

Booking was easy. Prices competitive. I even had to move my appointment by a day, so I know they can be flexible too if headcount permits on a given time slot.

Our boat guide was Grant. Grant made the cruise down the Snake River a blast. His clear love for and connection with the land was obvious. Providing constant bits of tribal knowledge and information about the Tetons, its inhabitants made the guide so enjoyable. All in addition to being an expert rafter.

Would recommend. Ask for Grant.

This was our first trip to Jackson Hole & the Tetons, the Barker-Ewing float trip will always be one of our favorite memories.
Online reservations were easy, all of the float information was accurate and easy to understand.
All of the folks that we met from Barker-Ewing were thorough and friendly.
The float trip itself was wonderful & the views of the Tetons from the Snake River can’t be beat, but what really made the trip unforgettable was our guide and oarsman Travis. He was quite experienced, very knowledgeable, easy to talk with and answered all questions from our group.
I’ll be sure to recommend Barker-Ewing to anyone that has the opportunity to take a float trip through the Grand Tetons.

This was a great trip down the Snake river. Beautiful scenery and Dave was a very entertaining guide. Floating through the park is such a peaceful experience, and being down on the water and away from people ups the chances of seeing many different animals. Highly recommend taking a float if you have time in your itinerary, and if you don't, make time!

Neil was a great tour guide. He is very knowledge about the history, river, area, etc. The ride was peaceful with amazing views. We took a wonderful float trip down the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park. Grant was our guide and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had a fantastic trip down Snake River with our guide Grant! He was fun, informative, and very skilled at navigating the river for a smooth ride. The view of the Tetons from the river was beautiful as we went through the park. I would highly recommend this company - everything was exactly as they stated, timely, and enjoyable. Book as soon as you know you want to go as they do get filled up.

Such an amazing experience! James was the best tour guide - very knowledgeable, funny, and yet knew when to let nature do the talking. The ride itself was peaceful and actually quite comfortable. We didn’t get a drop of water on us. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a unique experience to add to your Grand Tetons trip.

Jet was very informative and nice demeanour, it was a very relaxing way to experience the beautiful Tetons and well worth the money paid definitely an experience I would do again.

Great trip down the Snake River! Frank was a great guide who regaled us with many interesting facts and stories as we made our way down River.

It was mid-May and quite chilly for us Floridians. Just wear extra layers!
