It was a great afternoon float. The Guide was very helpful and knowledgeable on the river, Flora and Fana. Highly recommended the trip.

We had a very experienced guide - the way he maneuvered the raft whenever the river turned from calm to rapids. He pointed out wildlife and provided some history of settlers of yesteryear. He offered blankets and ponchos since the weather was drizzly and about 32 degrees. My group really enjoyed this tour and would recommend Barker-Ewing to anyone.

Great float trip with our guide Chris. He was constantly looking for wildlife and we saw Osprey with a large fish catch, 3 bald eagles, beaver and their dams. Loved that he would turn the boat so front and back got rotated regularly. Fantastic Teton scenery throughout! Really enjoyed his stories about how the river changes every year...or day! Our family of 4 adults loved it and highly recommend!

Guide was great and offered numerous facts about the River, vegetation & wildlife. Couldn’t have asked for a better time or guide.

We had a wonderful time on our scenic float trip with Barker-Ewing! I am pretty picky when it comes to adventure outfitters, and I am really happy that we went with Barker-Ewing. Frank, our guide, was a fountain of knowledge and we had a ton of fun with him. We'd definitely go on another trip!

Beautiful views you will never forget! From booking the trip, follow-up meeting instructions, to meeting our guide “Travis” was easy and stress free. Travis and Ryan picked us up and took us to our launching point. After a brief instructional meeting we were off and floating. Travis done an excellent job navigating the waters and other boats on the river. Spectacular photo opportunities and history lessons along the route. Our group never felt unsafe or compromised! My wife and I visit the area several times a year but this is our first Snake River trip. We all talked about the views and awesome humor from Travis after our trip. We enjoyed our float trip down the snake river. Our guide was personable and funny. It was relaxing, and the scenery was amazing. We didn’t see any wildlife except for bald eagles and osprey. Very enjoyable.

Our float trip was August 21st with Travis as our guide. The whole experience was amazing from the pick up through our arrival back at the pick up area. Travis was a fantastic guide with significant experience and knowledge that made the trip great on top of the tremendous views. Definitely recommend Barker-Ewing float trips!

It was our second time on this trip and it did not disappoint! On this occasion we were with our grandchildren and they were duly impressed with the experience. Our oarsman was superb as he navigated the waters with ease, making the journey feel very relaxed.

An absolutely awesome tour. Felt safe the whole time, our guide was so knowledgeable, and it was the best way to start our day. I learned so much and felt like I was in the best hands. My fiance said it was the highlight of his trip. We didn’t get to see any wildlife but our guide kept his eyes peeled the entire time. So peaceful and fun! 10/10 recommend.
